Difficult. I'd say 3, because it sounds so silly to be afraid of small birds.
But then, a lot of people are afraid of things that sound silly to others. Most of my fears probably sound silly to other people too.
So my guess is #2 is the lie.

Funny that no one seems to doubt #1.
