Checking in. Still alive.

Got my taxes filed last night, so that's done and the refund should be here around Valentine's Day. Not that Valentine's day is much to me this year, besides the chance to attend the wedding of a long time LJ friend, who I will finally get to meet in person. Filed my brother's taxes for him, as well, and am going to help Mom learn to e-file her taxes this evening.

Gonna run over to Stillwater this afternoon and indulge in some sushi, because sushi makes everything better.

totally not related to the above but I have been playing a lot of Fallout 3 lately which is set in post nuclear war Washington DC and despite my searching I have yet to find a merchant named Bob this makes me sad some how.

On a somewhat related side note their is now a Sushi place in Owasso about 5 miles from where I live with a added bonus of actually being really good double win :). Anywho much love and good luck

Oh gods eFiling is sooo much easier. And cheaper too! I went to the guy who does my folks and he wanted $200 for a simple 1040 filing. I said no way and have been doing them online ever since!

You're doing science and you're still alive?

did you get the tax loan, or is it just going that quickly this year?

If you e-file, it's just going that fast! There is a page to let you know when to expect your refund if you e-file here:

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p2043.pdf

I received my state refund already, which is unprecedented, and I expect my federal refund in a week.

we don't pay state taxes. and since we bought a house, we're doing it through h&r block this year. i'm assuming they know what they're doing.
