*twang, twang, twang* (That's my imitation of a banjo.)

Hey, banjo lovers!

The American Banjo Museum, previously located in Guthrie, OK under the name The National Four String Banjo Hall of Fame, just opened in Bricktown in Oklahoma City this week. I know I have a few banjo lovers on my flist, so thought I'd spread the word. Apparently they have over 300 banjos. So. That's interesting.

Mixed emotions here. Seeing all of those wonderful musical instruments, thinking of who had played them and where they had been, and yet so sad seeing them just hanging there, or behind glass, not being played, their strings silent, their voices stilled.
