The largest reason I despise what Valentine's Day has become is how you feel right here. It is a means by which people get to feel like crap about their lives based on whether or not they are pair bonded, at the point the holiday comes around.
Amber, you are a wonderful human, as deserving of peace and bliss in this life as any other human. It is my sincere belief that when your life is in a place that is it meet (i.e. you have a life in which you can do the things you like to do, are doing something you enjoy for a living, and very hopefully are not doing life in the tiny place that is where you currently live) that you will come across a proper companion.
