No point in going to the all you can eat buffet...

It has been six days since I had my ears stapled.

I have lost 4.5 pounds. In six days. And that during the time of month when I am usually retaining water and pigging out on chocolate.

I'd say it is working.

I really do plan to get some pictures of my ears and post them on here, but I've been busygirl at work.
Switched around work schedule so I could take kidling to his best friend's birthday party this weekend. Of course, another child in his class is having his party at the same place at the same time. This means there will be around forty first graders at the bowling alley at the same time, and that is a conservative estimate.

Yipes.

Smog and I, on the other hand, have decided to go a more sophisticated route for his party. I allowed him to invite three friends, and we are going out to dinner and a movie, specifically Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Works better, since his actual birthday falls on the day before Thanksgiving this year, and no one would come to a party then.

Pray for me, and send me patient energy and good thoughts this Saturday around 1:00-3:00 Central Time. I shall be in desperate need.
