Nov. 1st, 2005 09:06 pmHalloween was groovy. I passed out about 150 glow bracelets as we "trick-or-treat" ed. Kidling dressed as a ninja, and my friend's twin daughters also dressed as ninjas, so there were a pack of them all together...if only I had had time to teach them to do a Charlie's Angel type pose...
On a rather sad note, my friend who usually accompanies me to Boar's Heade Feaste has a prior engagement, which means I will not only be without the joy of her company, but I will also be stuck footing hotel bill alone. This is where you good folk come in. If anyone has:
a) a house in Muskogee or surrounding area and would not mind lending crash space,(ie, a couch) or
b) a hotel room for the night of Boar's Heade with a bed they are not using
and would let me know, I'd be very grateful. I don't snore( though I have been known to talk in my sleep. Full disclosure.) I would gladly chip in on hotel room /slip you some cash for the inconvenience of a house guest. At the very least I'd buy you breakfast the next morning! Obviously I need someone safe to stay with...I'd prefer someone I know, but if someone one of you can vouch for is in the same situation, that could work as well.
Please let me know as soon as possible...I already have my ticket and sitter for the kidling, and would love to get this part ironed out so I can concentrate on more important things...namely, GARB!
