A couple of things happened while I was subbing today that I want to remember, 'cause they made me happy.

Cut for length, but SFW. )

Subbing tomorrow, too, for a different teacher. Always a new challenge!

Ran up to the gas station to get some gas so I could come up to Pub Night (*GLEE*) and as I was on my way home, the water main next to the high school burst right in front of me (not in the road, thankfully, but off to the side, and spraying water over the road I was driving on). Nothing like a sudden 40 foot geyser erupting in front of you to wake you up! Came home and called the fire department's non-emergency number, and they have someone out there working on it now. Of course, in the meantime, every lookyloo in town had to rush over here and drive under the spray and through the flooded street. Silly people. Smog wanted to go play in it so badly, but I had to explain to him that that much water under that much pressure would not be happy fun sprinkler time, but would instead hurt like hell and be dangerous. I've never seen anything like that happen in person in real time...only on the news. Hope they are able to get it shut down before it causes problems with the road. That road is under construction right now, anyway, and I'm curious if that has something to do with it, or if it is just coincidence.

Very wild.

Home safely. [livejournal.com profile] ladyniniane had a quick errand to run, and then she was heading home, too.

I needed tonight very much. Most excellent laughter!

Things to remember:

*Smog's collision with the hot waiter, Bobby
*Buttplugs in different sizes!!
*Rubber ducky!

And now, we sleep.

[livejournal.com profile] aoifemacewen, I hope by the time you see this, you are feeling better!
